ND Boys come up short in Magnolia Heights tournament

The North Delta Green Wave High School boys dropped three games in the Magnolia Heights Tournament in Senatobia this week.

In the tournament opener against the archrival Chiefs, 61-46 with Chris Brown leading North Delta with 16 points. Bryan Nickle and Corbin Baker were the only other Waves with double digits in scoring with 11 points each. Derrick Shawn added three points whileBailer Guckert and Geri Lamm chipped in two points each. Luke Williams scored one point to round out the scoring.

In the Green Waves second game of the tourney, they fell to St. Benedict 74-35.

In the game, Baker led all ND players with eight points followed closely by Brown with seven, and Nickle and Mathew Barefoot adding six points each. Ethan Frink dropped in thee points and Levi Garner and Shawn scored two points a piece.
