After being off for Thanksgiving break, the Lady Tigers couldn’t turn up what they needed to handle the Lady Eagles Tuesday night as they fell 62-41.

From the free throw line, the Lady Tigers were 8 of 13 and only two players scored double digits. Chasity Kearney scored 15 points while Dorian Winfield added 10. Christa Brown put up 9, Brittany Moore 3, Jasmon Houston 2 and Jelisa Lyons 2

Starting off with a 4-0 lead, the Lady Tigers only added 2 more points in the first quarter and the Lady Eagles were on top 13-6 at the end.

Making a 17 point charge in the second quarter, they got within 5 while but the Lady Eagles continued their drive putting up 15. The Lady Tigers were down 28-23 at the half.

The Lady Tigers found themselves in a bigger hole in the third while missing shots and letting the Lady Eagles steal the ball from them. Scoring only 11 points to the Eagles’ 22, the Lady Tigers were down 50-34 at the end of the quarter.

The hole was too deep for the Lady Tigers to climb out of in the fourth while they only added 7 points and the Lady Eagles put up 12 to win the game.
