In a story published Tuesday, “District 2 seat up for grabs today,” the candidate for the vacant North Panola School District Board of Trustees post was incorrectly identified.

She is Verna Lasha Hunter who won the school board seat in Tuesday’s voting with 228 votes to Cecil Dowden’s 112.
