North Delta Jr. High football team will host a jamboree at 5 p.m.

Fri., August 21

North Delta High School football team will open the season at Magnolia Heights at 7:30 p.m.

North Panola High School football team will host the season opener against Memphis Kingbury at 7:30 p.m.

South Panola High School football team will host the season opener against Petal at 7:30 p.m.

Sat., August 22

The City of Batesville Parks and Recreation Department has announced sign up dates for fall sports.

City League Soccer sign up will be held at Trussell Park from 5 to 6 p.m. for children ages 4 to 13. There is a $15 sign up fee.

City League men’s fall softball league will have its last sign up at Trussell Park from 5 to 6 p.m. There is a $150 sign up fee.
