Green Wave qualify for first ever North State tournament


The North Delta Green Wave baseball team has earned its first ever trip to the North State Championship with a 6-1 win over Humphreys County Thursday night. The Green Wave will meet the winner of the Bayou Academy/Tunica Institute series next week. Bayou and Tunica will play game three of their series tonight.

Geri Lamm got the win pitching six innings. Lamm gave up two hits and one run. Jim Tom Copeland pitched the final inning and gave up no hits or runs.
