Late afternoon sunshine beautifully illuminated the blooming trees and shrubs on Church Street in Batesville Sunday afternoon, including this unusual dogwood which has one branch bearing pink blossoms while the rest of the tree is covered in white. The tree is located in the yard of longtime Batesville schoolteacher, the late Miss Erin Whitten.
