Tig Barksdale signs with Ole Miss

Making good on a verbal commitment in 2007 to play football with Ole Miss, Darius “Tig” Barksdale signed the national letter of intent today. On this national signing day, Ole Miss picked up a premier recruit in Barksdale who was listed as one of the top recruits in 2008. Due to his grade situation, Barksdale decided last year not to sign with the Rebels.

The Ole Miss website posted the signing at 12:55 p.m.

Barksdale, a South Panola standout, attended and played last season at Hargrave Military prep school in Virginia.
