The Green Wave plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the first without benefit of a hit as Marvell pitcher Halee Thomas walked four and hit a batter. Two Marvell pitchers issued 11 free passes in the game.

After Morrow struck out the side in the top of the second, North Delta sent 15 batters to the plate in a 11-run inning. Morgan Lawrence, Vicki Johnson, Lindsey Hebert and Laci Dubravec all reached on walks before Brady Beard unloaded a two-run double to left field that scored Johnson and Hebert.Later in the same inning, Beard would clear the bases with a triple. RBI singles by Morrow, Lawrence and Lauren Kimzey extended the inning.

North Delta added two runs in the bottom of the third to end the game via the 15-run mercy rule. Morrow, Kimzey and Courtney Dubravac led off the inning with walks. Following a fielders choice by Lawrence, Johnson laced a single to score Kimzey and Dubravac for the final runs.
