In a story dated July 18, it was said South Panola has to pay ESPN an undisclosed fee. That statement is incorrect. The extra money charged for the September 19 game against Apopka, Fla. will go to offset the cost of the Apopka team making the trip to South Panola. South Panola will not pay ESPN anything.
The Panolian regrets the error and any inconvenience it may have caused.
Season Tickets
South Panola Season tickets for the 2008 season will continue on sale through today for current season ticket holders. Season tickets will go on sale for the general public tomorrow. Tickets will be $55 for the five home games.
For those who have already paid their season ticket fee, the tickets are in, according to bookkeeper Jamie Hubbard, and may be picked up at the school between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
General admission tickets will be $5 per game with the exception of the September 19 home game against Apopka, Fla. That televised game general admission price will be $10 for that game only.
Limited chairback seats will be available for $75.
Y’all vs. US
South Panola will also sell the upcoming Y’all vs. Us book featuring 15 of the hottest rivalries in Mississippi. Included in the book is the South Panola – Olive Branch rivalry.
