The Downtown Square will be the center of Batesville’s musical and entertainment world beginning Friday afternoon.

Scheduled to provide entertainment for the crowd on Friday are Batesville native Alison Heafner who will open the festival and be followed by Class Reunion, a band that features Calvin Flint.

Saturday’s music line-up consists of RiverRoad, Too Many Drivers, Rocket 88, Southern Country, Susanne Jerome Taylor and Pat Taylor, Nash Street, Roy Carrier and the Night Rockers, King Billy, and headliner Shenandoah.

Caldwell Insurance and Regions Bank will present the First Annual SpringFest 5K Run/Walk on Saturday.  Pre-registration is highly recommended.  Online registration is available at www.racesonline.com. Race Day registration will only be available between 6:45 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.  

??The race begins promptly at 8 a.m.  Walkers and runners are welcome. Runners will line up first, and the walkers will be lined up directly behind them for the shotgun start.  ??

The annual carnival will be set up and will feature a variety of rides and games.
