South Panola Athletic Foundation officials have announced groundbreaking ceremonies for the new South Panola artificial turf field will take place on the field at 1 p.m. Friday, May 9.
SP to hold shootout
South Panola head boys basketball coach Charlie Howard has announced a Boys Basketball Shootout will be held at South Panola on June 8. At this time, eight times have registered.
SP football received state champ rings Tuesday night

South Panola players received their 2007 state championship rings Tuesday night.
The program was held in the gym and a reception was held in the media center.
Spring Game
The team will complete spring training on May 13 with a spring game at Lafayette County High School in Oxford. The junior varsity team will play at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity team.
