Sardis plans gospel music, fireworks

A fireworks display in Sardis Saturday night will culminate an afternoon of music on Main Street in celebration of the Fourth of July.
The Sardis Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring gospel singing starting at 4 p.m. Barbecue and cold drinks will be available. There will be a drawing for a flat screen TV. Those who present receipts from Sardis businesses dated June 1-30 are eligible to enter. The receipt must show the name and phone number of the person entering the drawing, and to win the drawing, you must be present.
Everyone is invited to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the afternoon of music and fireworks at dark.
