Egg Bowl kickoff set for 2:30 ESPN

One of the winningest senior classes in Mississippi State football history will be honored Saturday night when the Bulldogs host Arkansas in Davis Wade Stadium. Head coach Dan Mullen discussed the senior class and previewed his team’s home finale at his weekly press conference on Monday.
Kickoff for the Bulldogs and Razorbacks is 6 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
Egg Bowl
Kickoff for the annual Southeastern Conference rivalry game between Ole Miss and Mississippi State on Nov. 26 has been set for 2:30 p.m. CT, televised by SEC Network.
The Rebels and Bulldogs will square off in the Battle for the Golden Egg, commonly referred to as the Egg Bowl, in Oxford this year. Ole Miss will honor its seniors during pregame ceremonies.
Depending on the outcome of this weekend’s games, one or both teams could be seeking bowl eligibility in the final game of the regular season.
Ole Miss (5-5, 2-4 SEC) travels to Nashville for a bout with Vanderbilt (4-6, 1-5 SEC) this Saturday (7 p.m., SEC Network). The Rebels are coming off a thrilling 29-28 come-from-behind victory at No. 8 Texas A&M, in which true freshman Shea Patterson led the team to 23 fourth-quarter points in his collegiate debut.
Mississippi State (4-6, 2-4 SEC) hosts Arkansas (6-4, 2-4 SEC) this Saturday in Starkville (6 p.m., ESPNU).
