Judge issues warrants after defendants fail to appear

Judge Bill McKenzie issued warrants for four defendants who failed to appear in Batesville Municipal Court Wednesday.
Benjamin Hall, 111 Patton Lane, Batesville, failed to appear to answer charges for open container and petit larceny. He also had old fines of $416 due since June 2016. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Nathaniel L. Davis, 1339 Tocowa Rd., Courtland, failed to appear to answer charges for possession of marijuana in a vehicle and improper equipment. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Standford Williams, 314 Fourth St., Marks, had a warrant issued for his arrest after his second time to fail to appear to answer charges for possession of marijuana in a vehicle, improper equipment, driving while license suspended and no proof of insurance.
Bobby Earl Jones, 1791 Gin Rd., Batesville, failed to appear to answer charges for false information.
Tanzania Bobo, 150 MLK, Batesville, entered a guilty plea to domestic violence-simple. She was fined $417.
Darrell M. Sledge, 151-A Pegues Circle, Batesville, was fined $779 for DUI-refusal. He had charges for improper equipment and careless driving dismissed.
Anthony T. Rodgers Jr., 215 West St., Batesville, entered a guilty plea to simple possession of marijuana. He was fined $443.
Jadarrius T. Turner, 103 Sherwood Rd., Batesville, entered a guilty plea to simple possession of marijuana. He was fined $443.
Kierra Bradford, 1208 Vance St., Batesville, had a trespassing case continued.
She was represented by Attorney David Walker.
Calton Raynor III, Curtis Road, Batesville, had a domestic violence and protection order hearing dismissed after the affiant, Jasmus Johnson failed to appear to prosecute.
Anduan J. Griffin, 6416-A Barnacre Rd., had a speeding trial remanded to the files at the request of the officer.
Randy Robinson, 326 Hays St., Batesville, had a charge for driving an off road dirt bike in city limits dismissed but was found guilty of no proof of insurance and no driver’s license.
Everette R. Mixon, 210 Georgia St., Batesville, entered a guilty plea to domestic violence-simple assault. He was fined $417.
