Annie Neal

SENATOBIA – Annie “Mama Neal” Neal, 87, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, in Batesville.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Ray-Nowell Funeral Home – Senatobia Chapel with Bro. Hal Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held today from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Ray Nowell Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia.

Neal was a seamstress and retired dorm mother after 17 years at Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jean Neal of Senatobia; two sons, Grady Neal of Indiana and Donald Neal of Como; three sisters, Myrtie Gilkerson of Cabot, Ark., Ila Selman of Jonesboro, Ark. and Mary Humphreys of Florida; four brothers, Bill Hamby of Georgia, J.W. Hamby of Oregon, Steve Hamby of Indiana and Harold Hamby; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Martha Ann Sutton Smith

BATESVILLE– Martha Ann Sutton Smith, 75, died Monday, July 26, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital- North Mississippi.

Graveside services were Wednesday, July 28 at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville.

Dickins Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Smith, born December 4, 1934 to the late David C. and Thelma E. Sutton, was retired from South Panola Community Hospital and a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, David Henry Sutton, Joseph F. Sutton and Charles Harold Sutton.

Survivors include her husband, Richard N. Smith of Batesville; one daughter, Susan Berryhill and her husband, Andy of Batesville; one sister Thelma S. Ray of Madison and two grandchildren, Clayton Sibley  and Andrea Berryhill.

George Charles Warren

Enid – Mr. George Charles Warren, 57, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Baptist Hospital-North Mississippi.

 Warren was a locksmith by trade and owned his own business. He was also a veteran of the US Army.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Willow Springs Assembly of God  Church. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Enid. Dickins Funeral Home has charge.

Survivors include his wife Dollie Ann Hall Warren of Enid; two daughters, Cynthya Boyuka of Senatobia,   and Shala Horton of Nashvill., also his mother Flora Warren of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Debbie Ferrell of Ky., Mary Hosack of La., and Diane Warren of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, James Morgan and Ronal of Jacksonville, Fla. and two grandchildren.
