South Panola High School shortstop Chris Townsend has been chosen to participate in the Pirate City World Series, spring training facility of the Pittsburgh Pirates, in Bradenton, Fla. on August 11-15. Townsend will train where the professionals train and the participants will train for over 10 hours per day at the camp.
