JoAnne Margaret Mazei Daniels

LAMBERT—JoAnne Margaret Mazei Daniels, 72, died Saturday, April 17, 2010.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lambert United Methodist Church. Rev. Charlie Simmons will officiate. Visitation will be held from noon until 2 at the church. Burial will be in Lambert Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home has charge.

Daniels, born Aug. 16, 1937, in Wyandotte, Mich. to the late Louis Leslie Mazei and Margaret Bufford Mazei, owned and operated Daniels’ Grocery Store and D&M Liquor Store in Lambert. She was a marketing representative for Bartizan Corporation. She was a member of Lambert United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by one son, Michael D. Daniels.

Survivors include: her husband, Dan Daniels; four sons, Michael Mayer, Timothy Mayer, Anthony Daniels, of Batesville and Richard Mayer; three daughters, Theresa Williams, Barbara Uhl, of Batesville and Linda Fowler; three sisters, Leslie Johnson of Md., Elizabeth Mazei of N.Y. and Dorthy Prestwich of Lambert; one brother, Louis Gerald Mazei of Calif.; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Bennie Mae Jones

SARDIS—Bennie Mae Jones, 59, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 following an auto accident in Sardis.

Services will be held today at 1 p.m. at Cistern Hill M.B. Church in Como. Rev. Cedric L. Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Henderson Funeral Home has charge.

Jones, born May 21, 1950, to Bennie Gipson and Agnes Daniel Gipson, was retired from I.C.S. Head Start as a bus driver. She was a member of Cistern Hill M.B. Church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Carretta Moore of Memphis and seven sons, James M. Jones, Bennie Jones, Kenny Jones, Douglas Jones and Earl Jones, all of Batesville and Lynwood Jones of Oxford.

George W. Martin III

RICHMOND, Va.—George W. Martin III, 69, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010.

Services were April 17 at Huguenot Road Baptist Church in Richmond. Morrissett Funeral Home had charge.

He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Martin.

Survivors include: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Martin Jr. of Batesville; three daughters, Monica Andrzejewski, Renee’ Seay and Megan Martin, all of Richmond; his brother Mike Martin and sister Bettye Horton, both of Batesville; and four grandchildren.
