Bryan A. Graves

COMO­—Bryan A. Graves, 78, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010.

Services were Saturday at Wells Funeral Home. Burial was in Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia. Rev. Donnie Hill officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Graves, born July 4, 1931, in Arkansas City, Ark., to the late Roy and Inez Adams Graves, was a retired superintendent for 43 years for Helena Cotton Oil. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Senatobia and was a honorary lifetime member of Stephen Stock Bredder’s Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann C. Graves.

Survivors include: four daughters, Kacky Graves Dunnagan of Senatobia, Sandra Graves Holloway of Atlanta, Ga., Becky Graves  McAlexander of Senatobia, Jane Graves McClain of Russellville, Ark.; one son, Marc Graves of Carlyle, Ill.; one sister, Marlyn Mixon of Texas; 14 grandchildren, Matt, Katie, Sarah, Eric, Jessica, Lacy, Nick, Asa, Kala, Bryan, Phillip, Christy, Jonathan and Brent; 10 great-grandchildren, Parker, Conner, Sadie, Ellie Grace, Cylus, Logan, Landon, Allison, Madison and Eathan.

The family would like to request that anyone wishing to send memorials to send them to LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center, 50 N. Dunlap Street, Memphis, Tenn. 38103.

Roger Lee Young

SARDIS—Roger Lee Young, 69, died Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.

Services were Sunday at Ray-Nowell Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Ellis officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home had charge.

Young, born Feb. 2, 1941, in Holloway, N.C., to the late Drumwright Young and Fannie Stone Young, was an engineer for Playtex and a member of Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange, Ga.

Survivors include: his wife, Mildred Wilson Young of Sardis; two daughters, Susie Ferguson and Deborah Brown, both of LaGrange, Ga.; two sons, Keith Goodwin of Batesville and Dale Young of LaGrange, Ga.; one sister, Merle Marshall of Roxboro, N.C.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
