North Delta head girls basketball coach Phil Douglas has been selected as an assistant on the North All-Star coaching squad. There were no seniors on the North Delta girls basketball team which finished 24-12 so no players from North Delta are playing.

Taylor Herron was selected to play on the North A boys All-Star team. His team finished the season 14-13 in the quarter final round of the north state tournament.

Herron averaged 17 points per game, eight rebounds and three assists. He was chosen all-District, a scholar athlete, Delta All-Tournament in the Christmas Invitational and named top performer in the Clarion-Ledger weekly list.

The All-Star games will be played Saturday, March 7 in A.E. Woods Coliseum on the campus of Mississippi College in Clinton.
