The North Panola girls overcame a nine-point halftime deficit to defeat Senatobia 51-48 and earn a berth in the championship game tonight against Tunica Rosa Fort. These two teams have already met twice this year and North Panola came out on the short end both times.

The North Panola boys fell to Rosa Fort 82-66 and will play in the consolation game against Holly Springs who lost to Byhalia 36-35 at 5:15 p.m.

North Delta boys lost to Hebron Christian 65-57 and ended the 2009 basketball season.

The South Panola boys will take on No. 8 ranked Starkville tonight in the district championship game at 7:30 p.m.

If the Tigers win, they will host the first round of the north state tournament Tuesday against the loser of the Provine/Greenville game. If the Tigers lose, they will travel to the winner of that game.
