The South Panola soft pitch team defeated J.Z. George 2-0 Thursday.  

The team will play Jim Hill in Jackson today in the first round of playoffs. The first game starts at 3:30 at the Veterans Memorial Complex. They will play the best two out of three.

If South Panola wins this set, they will host the second round on Tuesday against the Clinton/Tupelo series. Time has not been determined.
