We appreciate Alderman Manley, Batesville Park and Recreation, the Panolian, Batesville Police Department, Dare Officer Donahue, Panola County Sheriff Department, Family First, Panola County Health Department, Boys and Girls Club of Northwest MS, the parents and the young people that participated.

The volunteers, the photos, the material, and equipment enabled us to provide quality family time for our community, and we want you to know how appreciative we are for all the services that were rendered.

It is our aim to provide a quality event and create a positive environment on Batesville’s Public Park.  We believe Patton Lane Park is a vital part of the fabric and makeup of Batesville.

Over the years a lot of life lessons–good and bad– have been learned on this public park, and we can not afford to leave the problem to other people. We believe through a strong baseball/softball league, 3 on 3 basketball, flag football, gospel on the park, straight talk programs and volunteers like Greek United, we can create a positive environment and strengthen our community.

Again we say thanks for the support and know that you time is needed and appreciated.

Lane Park Committee
