Big Blue Button allows access to more photos
By Myra Bean

The Panolian announces a new way for its customer to buy photos taken by staff members.

Photos that appear in The Panolian as of May 30, 2006 and later and some photos that do not appear in the paper are now available for purchase online.

Go to www.panolian.com and click on the "Big Blue Button" on the left under the weather.

This will take you to the "Album" page where Panolian photos are located.

So far photos from the Deshea Townsend reception and camp are there, along with photos from the May 30 Memorial Day service in Downtown Batesville.

Once you get to the Album page, you can browse through the photos. To purchase photos, you have to click on the link under account, my information and then set up a user name. Continue to follow directions to complete your purchase.

Panolian owner Rupert Howell is excited about the new service.

"This new service not only allows us to showcase more photographs of local events, it also allows our readers an easy way to obtain quality reproductions," Howell said.

The service is available immediately. Customers do not need a user name to view the photos, just to purchase them, according to Howell.
