Richard Gilbert Gorman, 77, passed away Saturday, Oct.17, 2020 at the Panola Medical Center in Batesville.

Richard was born on October 20, 1942 to the late George Gilbert and Clara Latham Gorman in Alabama. Before he retired, he worked as a mechanic at MMC Materials.

He was a simple man who loved and cared for his wife, Nancy. Richard honorably served in the MS National Guard and was a member of the Sledge United Methodist Church.

The family he leaves behind includes his precious wife, Nancy Bailey Gorman of Batesville; and two sons, Greg Gorman of Sarah, and George Gorman of Dundee.

The family of Richard will hold a memorial service to celebrate his life at a later date.
