SP soccer teams fall to Lake Cormorant

By Brad Greer
The South Panola boys soccer team saw its three-game winning streak come to a end with a tough 2-1 loss at the hands of Lake Cormorant Tuesday night at Robert H. Dunlap Stadium.

With the match knotted at 1-1 late in the second half, the Gators Tyrone Davis lazared a shot past South Panola goalkeeper Gehrig Griffin off of a penalty kick in extra time to give Lake Cormorant the victory. Davis also accounted for the visitors initial goal off a throw in at the 21 minute mark of the second half.
