The South Panola fastpitch team had a delay in opening the season as the tournament at Lake Cormorant was canceled due to inclement weather.

The Lady Tigers will travel to the Gulf Coast Saturday to participate in a jamboree. South Panola will play East Central at 9 a.m. and St. Martin at 1 p.m.

Also playing in that tournament is the North Delta fastpitch team. They have three games schedule.

The Lady Wave will play Biloxi at 9 a.m., St. Martin at 11 a.m. and Harrison Central at 5 p.m.
Baseball

The North Delta baseball team is slated to open the season at home today hosting Lee Academy, Ark. The varsity game is at 4 p.m. followed by the junior varsity.

South Panola’s game with Lake Cormorant from Saturday was rescheduled for today, but that has been canceled, also.

The Tigers will open the season with the Wes Smythe Memorial Tournament Saturday, The Tigers will play Senatobia at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., followed by games with Lake Cormorant at 3 and 5 p.m.
