“My plans are to become actively involved in the community,” Sigler said. “I will be seeking community input and feedback on how to better meet the community’s health care needs.”

And Sigler has a proven record of community involvement. Past involvement includes serving as a member and president of the Rotary Club in Batesville and Cleveland, as a church deacon and choir member, and the Boys and Girls Club of Batesville board of directors.

He is a past recipient of the Alabama Hospital Association Health Care Hero Award and a Rotary Club Paul Harris Fellow.

Sigler, who has 24 years of health care experience, follows Bob Jones, who retired Oct. 3.  His most recent professional experience includes serving as chief executive officer for Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville after serving in the same position for Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.
