Winning the costume contest at Saturday’s Scare on the Square in Batesville were Joshua Bennet (“Obama”) and Jaylen Flowers (“Romney”). The event was sponsored by Batesville Main Street. After the costume walk, children visited a number of festively decorated “trunks” where they received goodies from area businesses, churches and other groups.
