The only singers’ music I have ever bought more than one CD include Whitney Houston, Michael Bolton, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson and Amy Grant.

Compared to some libraries that is pretty miniscule and it has been a while since it was updated.
This week we said good-bye to a music master in Whitney Houston. Unfortunately, Whitney had lost the voice that she was blessed with a few years ago. However, her legacy of her heyday will remain for a long time.

Her life ending at 48 for unknown causes hit the world like a ton of bricks. Though I don’t worship people, she had a gift that one was in awe after hearing her sing.

I was at the Arenacross Racing when I got the news that she was found dead. My first question was, “Are you serious?”

I think I asked the same question when the news came across about Michael Jackson.

Their addictions were public knowledge and eventually their hearts had taken all that they could handle. When their hearts played out, it left fans with heavy hearts for their departure and we hurt along with their families.

Whitney will be laid to rest tomorrow in her hometown Newark, New Jersey. The funeral is expected to be broadcast on some networks, according to online reports.

The news of Whitney’s death came after the South Panola cheerleaders had performed amazingly in the preliminaries in Orlando.

Sunday, they got a disappointing score from the judges which placed them eighth overall. I guess I was not in too good of a mood because I am still not happy with those results.

Those girls nailed that routine that had the highest degree of difficulty of any one at that competition. I sure hope that they check their judges for future competitions.

How can someone score lower the second day when they did better than the first day?

No, I am a pretty sore loser this week with Whitney and the cheerleaders.

Cheerleaders, come back fighting for next year.
