Panolian readers are being asked to weigh in with their choices in the newspaper’s 2009 “Best of the Best” awards.

The ballot, including categories for more than 180 businesses and services, will be published in the Tuesday, September 29 issue of The Panolian, and in the Wednesday, September 30 Panolian ADvantage, the free publication distributed in the area each week.

Readers are asked to vote for their favorites and submit their ballots by October 9. Completed ballots can be dropped off at the newspaper, or at Kroger, Piggly Wiggly or Sav-A-Lot in Batesville or Chandler’s Fresh Market in Sardis.

Only official ballots from those two publication dates will be accepted. No photocopies are eligible.

As added incentive to vote, The Panolian will draw one voter’s name from the submitted ballots to award a $100 shopping spree.

“Best of the Best” winners will be published in a special section of The Panolian on Friday, October 30.
