After today, there is one day left to get your nominations in for the Extreme Sports Fan contest.

So far 11 people have been nominated for the honor so there is room for more.

Also, Pittsburgh Steeler cornerback Deshea Townsend is sponsoring a trip to a Steeler home game this season as the grand prize. Details of the trip are still being ironed out, so sports fans get your entries in. Nominees include Lee Wilks, Richard Russo, Denise Benson, Blake Daugherty, John Ivy, Richard Hartley, Paul Middleton, Todd Johnson, Collins Bailey, Brady McMillen and Brandon White.

Just fill out the form on page B10 and turn it in along with supporting documents and photos to convince the judges why you should be considered for the honor of being called the Extreme Sports Fan of Panola County.

Deadline is Wednesday, July 1 at 5 p.m. Copy must be in office at the close of business.
