A workshop to be hosted June 24 by the South Panola Parent Center will equip parents with ideas to improve their children’s nutrition and increase their physical activity.

The South Panola School District has teamed with the “Eating Good and Moving Like We Should” program to offer the free workshop designed for parents and caregivers of children in grades K-12 to improve family eating and activity habits.

The workshop will be held Wednesday, June 24, from 9 a.m. until noon. Seating for the workshop is limited. Anyone interested in attending should phone Parent Center director Diane Wiley at 563-6044 by June 19 to register. The Parent Center is located at 204 College St.
