Members of the Panola County Humane Society and local police officers look over the new pens recently provided by the city at its pound facility.
Checking out the upgrade are (from left) PCHS member Kim Strickland, assistant police chief Kerry Pittman, animal control officer Benji Caine, police chief Jimmy McCloud and PCHS member Margaret Eubanks.
As spokesman for the PCHS, Eubanks said, “Thanks to the mayor and city board of aldermen. The news pens were greatly needed and appreciated. A special thanks to Ben for putting everything together and taking care of the dogs.”
