There will be a memorial service held for Stacy at 2  p.m. on Friday, March 8,  at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. Visitation will be from 1 to  2 p.m. prior to the service.

Stacy was born Feb. 28, 1968 to the late James Harold Blair and Sallye Jo Darby Blair in Jackson. Stacy completed her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration at Union University. At Union she thrived and made lifelong friends that became family. She excelled in the business world and became a highly sought Marketer quickly obtaining the coveted title of Director of Marketing for national retail and healthcare corporations.

As much as she enjoyed her career, once Stacy became a Mom, nothing compared to the joy her daughter Kaylyn brought to her life. She made the decision with her husband Ben to retire from the executive business world and devote her life to the roles she cherished the most, homemaker and mother. Her daughter, Kaylyn, was the light of her life and reason and purpose for being.

Stacy was also very mission minded and participated in international mission trips herself until her health prevented travel. This obstacle did not deter her mission minded spirit. She found a passion for ministering to the elderly population, especially in long-term care facilities. She often combined her talent of baking with her gift of senior ministry to bless many lives throughout numerous years.

The loving family that she leaves behind includes her husband, Ben Cheek of Batesville, her cherished daughter, Kaylyn Blake Cheek of Oxford, sister, Vicki Blair Calvert (Steve) of Batesville, one brother, Randy Harold Blair (Denita) of Courtland, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins that brought great joy to her life.

Memorials may be made to The Cross Ministry, 107 Quail Run Rd. Batesville, MS 38606 or The Gideons, P.O. Box 4791, Batesville MS 38606.
