John Curtis Lamar Glover, 57, also known as “Hap”, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at his home in Batesville.
A graveside service for Hap was held Saturday, Jan. 8, at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. Rev. Todd Pittman officiated the service.
Hap was born on Sept. 5, 1964 to the late John Curtis Glover and Mattie Lee Swan Glover. He was retired from the City of Batesville where he worked as an equipment operator. When the weather was nice, you could find Hap riding his motorcycle or piddling out in the yard. He always had a smile on his face and will be missed greatly by his friends and family.
The family he leaves behind includes his two siblings, Gayle Reed (Robert) and Jimmy Glover both of Batesville, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Glover and James Glover; and one sister, Mary Doris Dillard.
