Deborah Lynn Letke, 70, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, at her home in Sardis, MS. Deborah was the widow of the late James Gordon Letke.

The family and friends will gather for visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, at Wells Funeral Home. Deborah will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis by her husband James.

Deborah was born Jan. 16, 1951, to Stella Bagdon Lowther and the late John Lowther in Memphis. She worked as a medical transcriptionist for 20 years in Memphis. Her and James moved to Sardis in the late 90’s.

The family she leaves behind to cherish her precious memory includes her two sons, John Brandon of Somerville, TN., and David Letke of Sardis; her mother Stella Lowther of Memphis; a sister, Pam Haynes of West Memphis, AR; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
