Soccer teams lose against Senatobia

It was a long, cold night for the South Panola soccer teams as all four squads lost to visiting Senatobia here on Tuesday.

Both junior high teams lost as the girls squad fell 4-0 while the boys lost 6-1 to the Warrior JV team. Mack Boyette scored there lone goal for the Tigers in the second half.

In varsity matches, the Lady Tigers fell to 2-2 on the season with a 6-0 setback while the boys fell behind 3-0 at halftime and lost 3-1.

Logan Cossey accounted for the lone goal for South Panola (1-2-1) with an assist from Spencer Davis. Gehrig Griffin stopped five shots from his goaltending position.

The Lady Tigers hosted Coahoma County last night while both varsity teams will host Oxford tonight beginning at 5 p.m.

The Junior High Tigers visit Oxford Monday starting at 5 p.m.
