To the Editor

In a recent edition of The Panolian newspaper a listing of every church in Panola County. I was happy and amazed to learn that there are 193 churches in Panola County. How wonderful is that!

At the Panola County Food Pantry we minister to a number of citizens of Panola County; unfortunately, we see those in need. Our mission is to “feeding the hungry” who live within Panola County. They are many, but with a shared effort, we believe we will be better able to meet their needs.

That is why we are contacting 193 houses of worship in our county and asking for a monthly financial commitment. A donation of $15 to $25 a month would allow us to sustain our assistance to those in need.
