ND track sees success

The North Delta track team traveled to Holly Springs to run in the Marshall Academy meet on Wednesday.
Several team members left with blue ribbons.
Christopher Williamson took first place in the varsity 100 meter hurdles.
In junior high action, Ally Alford placed first in the 800-meter run. The 1600 meter relay team of Kallie Brown, Hannah Bollinger, Faith Bollinger and Sayle Stennett placed first. Also, Jordan Cox placed first in the 300 meter low hurdles.
Other team members placing in varsity were Sarah Johnson, second place in the 200 meter dash and third place in the 100 meter dash; Kaleb Joyner, second place 200 meter dash; Peyton Neal, second place, 100 meter dash; and the 400-meter relay team, third place, Peyton Neal, Will Kidder, Christopher Williamson and Kaleb Joyner.
Other junior high winners include: 800-meter relay team of Faith Bollinger, Kennedy Snyder, Hannah Bollinger and Kallie Brown, second place; and 400-meter relay team of Kennedy Snyder, Caroline Parnell, Ally Alford and Sayle Stennett, second place.
Also in second place were Ally Alford, 100 meter hurdles, and Caroline Parnell, 400 meter dash and 200 meter dash. Ashlyn Melton placed third in the 300 meter hurdles.
Junior high boys placing third were Colin Hartman, 100 meter dash and the 1600 meter relay team of Mason McCord, Brennan Griffin, C. J. Bickerstaff and Colin Hartman.
Placing fourth was Mason McCord in the 400 meter dash.
