Teams return to basketball action

North Panola teams

North Panola Junior High traveled to MS Palmer last night to take on the Dragons. Wednesday the Junior High will be traveling to take on Independence at 5 p.m. and Saturday they will host a NPJH Tournament. 

The North Panola junior varsity and varsity teams will take on Independence tonight at home starting at 4 p.m. On Friday the Cougars will host Coldwater in the “Coldwater Classic” that will start at 4 p.m.

Fans are asked to white out the gymnasium and wear white T-shirts. The Booster Club has T-shirts on sale for $12.

Tuesday, December 8, North Panola will have faith night against Lewisburg. Fans are asked to wear their favorite faith-based t-shirt or t-shirt from their church.

North Delta

North Delta’s teams will be on the road for back-to-back contests. They traveled to Indianola last night and will be in Calhoun tonight. The Jr. High girls and boys and both varsity teams will be participating in the matchups. The games will start at 3 p.m.

Batesville Jr. High

Batesville Jr. High will be busy on Thursday taking on Lafayette at home starting at 5 p.m. Then they will travel to Sardis to partake in the NPJH Tournament on Saturday. 

South Panola

For South Panola’s varsity teams, they will have a busy week.  They will be in a Cleveland Tournament from Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. 

Today, the girls will play St. Joe at 4 p.m. followed by the boys at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, the girls will play the host team Cleveland at 7 p.m., followed by the boys’ game at 8:30 p.m.

Pope Jr. High

Pope played at Independence last night and will return home to host Lafayette Monday at 5 p.m.
