Christine Manson Butler

COURTLAND–– Christine Manson Butler, 51, died January 2, 2013.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Courtland. Rev. Larry Itson will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home. Henderson Funeral Home had charge.

Survivors include: her husband, Oliver Butler; three daughters, Latisha Butler of Chicago, Latasha Butler and Charisse Butler, both of Greenwood; two sons, Marquis Butler of Milwaukee and Oliver Butler of Courtland; one sister, Janice Manson of Chicago; two brothers, Terry Manson of Antonio, Texas and James Manson of Chicago.

Gay A. Bolton

POPE – Gay Arender Bolton, 79, wife of Stanley Bolton, died at her residence in Pope on January 13, 2013.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Dickins Funeral Home. Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Dickins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill. Dickins Funeral Home has charge.

Dorothy Virginia Lawson Faulkner

ENID–– Dorothy “Doris” Virginia Moorman Lawson Fowler, 77, died Friday, January 11, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.

The Fowler family will have a memorial service at a later date in Gulport.

Fowler, born May 11, 1935, in Charleston, to the late Dexter D. and Nellie Jones Moorman, was a Baptist and a homemaker.

Survivors include: her husband, William R. Fowler of Enid; five daughters, Barbara Hardy of Byhalia, Sherry Matheny of Pass Christian, Mary Lawson of Gulfport, Patty Tilman and Bonnie Moran, both of Gulfport; two sisters, Mildred Alexander and Mary Bethune, both of Oakland; one brother, Wilson Moorman of Pleasant Hill; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Michael Goforth

BATESVILLE –– Michael Wayne Goforth, age 35, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis.

Wells Funeral Home has charge.

Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced as they become available.

Hailey Holland Marmino

BATESVILLE –– Hailey Holland Marmino, 18, died Friday, January 11, 2013, near Water Valley from an automobile accident.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Wells Funeral Home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Marmino, born Sept. 19, 1994, in Memphis, to Anissa Nicole Maino Sanders and Johnny Charles Holland, was a Baptist.

Survivors in addition to her parents include: her husband, Erick Marmino of Batesville; step-father, William Eddie Holloway of Batesville; three sisters, Dixie Holland and Katherine Holland, both of Michigan, Sierra Maino of Batesville; two brothers, Jason and Justin Holloway of Batesville;  grandparents, Veda Doris Holland of Bolivar, Tenn., Paula Shearon Cordell of Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; Jerry Trish Maino of Memphis and great-grandmother, Paula Vivian Bartels of Horseshoe Bend, Ark.

Norma B. McKee

BATESVILLE–– Norma B. McKee, 86, died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.
Services were held Saturday at Wells Funeral Home. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

McKee, born May 30, 1926, to the late Irene Horton and Charles Grady Byers Sr., in Yalobusha County, was a homemaker and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.S. McKee Jr.

Survivors include: two daughters, Lynn M. Finnie and her husband, James Horace of Batesville and Kathy M. Downey and her husband, Michael of Germantown; one grandson, Michael Chase Downey and his wife, Jenni; one great-granddaughter, Emerson Kate Downey and two step-granddaughters, Margaret Ann Finnie and Kim Finnie.

Charlie H. Parker

HERNANDO – Charlie H. Parker, 75, retired from Magna International, died January 10, 2013 at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital. Services were held Sunday, January 13 at Hernando Funeral Home.

Parker was preceded in death by his parents, George and Beatrice Parker, and two brothers, James Russell Parker of Batesville and Harry Parker.

Survivors include: his wife, Frances Parker; one daughter, Dena Sadler of Malden, Mo.; stepdaughter, Terri Brewer of Brentwood, Tenn; son, Craig Parker of Memphis; two stepsons, Bobby Taylor of Senatobia and Mike Taylor of Horn Lake; one brother, Jack Parker of Oakland; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Jerry Glynn Willard

MARKS ––Jerry Glynn Willard, 60, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013.

Services were held Friday at West Marks Baptist Church.Burial was in Longtown Cemetery. Rev. Troy Moser officiated. Kimbro Funeral Home had charge.

Willard was born Sept. 12, 1952, in Crenshaw.
She was preceded in death by his father, Leaster Elisha Willard.

Survivors include: his mother, Ellen Willard; one daughter, Amy Worrell of Senatobia; two brothers, Tony Willard of Strayhorn, Danny Willard of Longtown; three sisters, Carol Stephens of Longtown, Sherry Burkes of Sardis, Cathy Bolen of Crenshaw and two grandchildren.
