Accident may have served higher purpose, says mom

On Friday, August 20, two families lives were forever changed. My son went to wish his grandmother (Jo), Happy Birthday. Then he had to tell her of the tragic accident he had been involved in on Eureka Road than afternoon.

Jeremy and Rachel Sanders (age 9) collided in a tragic accident. Once again, God’s mercy was shown in their lives and ours as well.

Thankfully, Rachel’s physical scars will heal, but the emotional scars that Rachel, Ann Marie and Jeremy are dealing with will take more time. I ask for your continued prayers in the lives of our children.

God brings people to each others lives for a reason. In our lives He formed a bond that will last for years to come. Thanks Jimmy and Alicia for your kind letter last week (Parent thanks responders, including driver, after vehicle hits daughter on Eureka Road, Sept. 7).

To all the responders at the scene, I will never be able to thank you enough.
