In case of rain, ceremony for Hill will change venues

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Enid Lake will be hosting a dedication ceremony in honor of the late Wayland Dean Hill, Sr. at the Wildcat Brake Wildlife Management Area on Thursday, May 15 at 11 a.m.

The management area is located on Yalobusha County Road 494 off of Yalobusha County Road 107.

Recent weather forecasts have predicted isolated rain showers for Thursday

Activities for Hill will be conducted at the Wildcat Brake Management Area unless severe weather threatens.

In the event of severe weather the ceremonial activities for Hill will be held at the First Christian Church in Water Valley at 11 a.m.

Enid Lake Corps personnel invites the public to join them in remembering Wayland Dean Hill Sr.’s love and compassion for Enid Lake and his devotion to Natural Resource Stewardship.
