Enid Lake to hold annual Habitat Day Sat.

By Enid Lake Park Rangers
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Enid Lake would like to remind everyone that Enid Lake’s Annual Habitat Day is scheduled for Saturday, February 6, 2016 with activities beginning at 7 a.m. at Enid Lake Field Office.
This year Habitat Day Volunteers will be working at Wallace, Hubbard, Bean and Dew Creeks. After a morning of constructing fish shelters, volunteers will return to Enid Lake’s maintenance shop for lunch, drawing for door prizes, and a chance to win a WACO 14′ aluminum fishing boat, donated by Top Dog Power Sports of Greenwood, MS and Performance Marine of Sardis, MS.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Enid Lake and the Volunteers for Waste Management have set the Annual Clean Up Day Event for February 27, 2016. The event will begin at 7:00 a.m.
Enid Lake Personnel would like to invite all visitors who frequent Enid Lake to these two events. With this in mind, we must also remember that the public lands surrounding Enid Lake are for everyone’s enjoyment and it is the responsibility of each user to preserve, protect and enhance our natural resources.
