Snow in March?

Como clerk brought to Panola

A Mississippi Bureau of Investigation officer walks former Como town clerk Kara Killebrew into the Panola County jail. She was transferred on Wednesday, following her arrest in Southaven Monday.

Arrested with Kara Killebrew was her husband, Marcus Wade Killebrew. MBI agents said that they are looking for another person who may have been involved in alleged criminal activity that has cost Como over $16,000 to date. Details in print and online Friday.
Como Town Clerk arrested

DeSoto County arrest records state that Kara Beth Killebrew was arrested in Southaven Monday on a warrant from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI).

Killebrew was town clerk in Como until Thursday, April 10, when the mayor and aldermen terminated her employment. She had previously tendered her resignation but offered to continue to help with town business until her replacement was selected.

On April 16, Como’s mayor and aldermen met in executive session for about 45 meeting during a special called meeting to discuss personnel matters.
