The following information was taken from the log book at the David M. Bryan Justice Complex. A charge does not indicate an admission of guilt.

August 29

Wayne Lamar, 548 Edward Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with simple assault. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Rodriguez K. Thomas, 417 Juanita St., Sardis, was arrested and charged with petit larceny and on a child support lock up order. The case was heard in Sardis Municipal Court.

Clyde Rico Young, 2385 Mt. Vernon Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, improper equipment, no driver’s license and no proof of insurance. The case will be heard in Como Municipal Court.

August 30

Marcus J. Armstrong, 230 Johnson Cove, Como, was arrested and charged with burglary. The case will be heard in Como Municipal Court.

Valencia K. Cooper, 308 Pearl St., Sardis, was arrested and charged with DUI. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Quentin K. Faulkner, 208 Pearson St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with two counts of simple assault. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Tiffany Marie Cox, 210 Oak Street, Como, was arrested and charged with contempt of court-failure to appear. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Richard Haynes, 417 Dewberry St., Sardis, is being held for investigation.

Derrell Cortez Willbourn, 706 Rock Hill Rd., Sardis, is being held for investigation.

Latina D. Mitchell, 155 Jessie P. Lee Rd., Como, is being held for investigation.

Lamarcus T. Heffner, 1287 Ballentine Rd., Sardis, is being held for investigation.

Kirk D. Casey, 108 Bradford St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance and crack cocaine.

Loretta Starks, 4195 Chippewa St., Memphis, is being held for investigation.

Larry D. Thompson, 821 Edwards Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with domestic violence. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
