The South Panola High School Wind Ensemble took first place at the Music in the Parks Festival on Saturday, April 15, in St. Louis.  The group ranked first among 13 competing concert bands and earned a sweepstakes award for receiving Superior ratings from every judge.

The students also visited The Gateway Arch, Ballpark Village, St. Louis Zoo, St. Louis Art Museum, City Museum, The Fabulous Fox Theater (to see Wicked: The Musical), Six Flags St. Louis and Dave & Buster’s on the trip.
