Students Attend Natchez Leadership Meeting

South Panola High School’s chapter of FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) recently attended the MS State FCCLA Leadership Meeting in Natchez. The Early Childhood 2nd year students all competed in STAR events. The team of Eloise Peterson, Eyce Short, and Kristin Johnston placed 1st in the state on their project on Community Service. They received gold medals and qualified to compete at Nationals in July at Denver. The team of Mya Gibbons and Alaiyah McGhee did their Focus on Children project on Stranger Danger. Class teacher is Janet Blackmon.
