On Wednesday, Feb. 22,  at approximately 7:45 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol
responded to a fatal crash on Highway 305 in DeSoto County.

A 1997 Ford Taurus driven by 32-year-old Javier Facio of Como, was traveling south on Highway 305 when it ran off the road and collided with a tree.

Javier Facio received fatal injuries from the crash.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
