Carole Loreen Worthington, 75, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Regional One Medical Center in Memphis.

A graveside service was held Thursday, June 30,  at the Harmontown Baptist Church Cemetery in Harmontown.

Carole was born on June 9, 1947 to the late Clarence Walls and Loreen Harlow Walls in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a hard-working, devoted mother and wife. She was an animal lover and was very fond of her birds. Carole also had a special love for music and enjoyed dancing. She was also the champion of her family when it came to games such as Uno, Yahtzee, Scrabble, Sorry, and Skip-Bo. She loved card games and hated to lose.

The family left behind to cherish her memory includes her husband, James Lomax Worthington of Harmontown; two children, Tiffany Mitchell (Steve) of Memphis,  and Bryan James Worthington (Michelle) of Harmontown; one sister, Marjorie Pollard of Water Valley; and 2 precious grandchildren, Riley Michelle Worthington and Grayson James Worthington.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Anna, Maxine, Dorothy, Johnnie, and Clytee and her brothers, Alton, Grady, R.V. and Dean.
